Triathlon and Trail Running
club in Anglet
Anglet France Team (aka l’AFT),
A sports association created in 2010, based on a passion for triathlon and then trail running, with 99 members spread across the two sections.
The AFT is affiliated with the French Triathlon Federation and also supervises the practice of combined disciplines such as Swim-Run and duathlon, as well as Ultra-Trail, among others.
The club’s values are pushing oneself to new heights, a love of sport, but above all sharing and team spirit, whether before, during, or after races at the famous “AFTer” events.
“Sports results validate the training sessions carried out throughout the year, but they are never an end in themselves. Above all, they are a way for enthusiasts to get together and enjoy each other’s company.”
Our events
The club also aims to organize events as a way to share our passions and moments of conviviality with the general public, while promoting the city of Anglet and its ideal playground for athletes.
CHIBERTRAIL
The Chibertrail (in February) is a trail run in the Chiberta woods in Anglet that brings together runners of all ages, with a record 800 participants in 2025. In just a few years, it has become the meeting place for trail runners at the start of the season!
SWIM 4K
Swim 4k (in summer) is a swimming race along the beaches of Anglet. A rare event when it was first created, it now attracts nearly 200 swimmers. In 2025, it will be the fifth edition of this gathering of Anglet swimmers, with the flagship 4.2 km race as always, but also a 2.1 km race and a relay race.
